A Sustainable Trade Zone (STZ) is a regional eco-system of sustainable business hubs anchored at one end by a large waste generating location, and a deep water port at the other end. Sustainable Trade Hubs in between process each kind of harvested resource in accordance with circular economy principles. The sites are connected by a variety of circular trade agreements, shared resource tracking Software and a common green supply chain.
The process of bringing together companies in innovative collaborations, designing ways to use the waste from one company as raw material for another to create a circular economy and approach zero waste.
The Hubs are selected and designed in harmony with transportation and shipping, a supply chain that efficiently connects the Hubs to reduce green house gas emissions. It is designed to reduce barriers to upgrade to renewable fuels as they become become available.
